She was born in Island on Sept. 7, 1933, to the late Harrison Wilson and Oda May Putnam Allen Wilson. She retired from Bonze Nursing Home in Evansville where she worked as a caretaker for 20 years. Daisy enjoyed doing puzzles and reading.
She also was preceded in death by her husband, David Thomas. Daisy is survived by her children, Cindy Kinison, Michael Knight, Guy Knight, Kenneth Knight and Sandy (Gary) Kinison; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Haley McGinnis Funeral Home Crematory. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m.

She was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Dundee to the late Everitt and Audrey Murphy Chapman. Mrs. Coney attended Hartford Second Baptist Church. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Rataschak; and her sister, Wilda Gray.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 69 years, John Nathan Coney of Beaver Dam; her daughter, Jean Marie (Robert) Cook of Chicago; and her brother, Dale (Linda) Chapman of Hartford. Velma was blessed with ve grandchildren, Mike Cook, Tommy Cook, David (Lisa) Rataschak, Kris (Robert) Boer and Nick Rataschak; and one great-grandson, Dominic Boer. com. Velma Pearl Coney DANVILLE, Va. John Edward Grady, 82, of 112 Northridge Drive, Danville, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Born on March 1, 1937, in Owensboro, he was the son of the late Harold and Pauline Wilson Grady. He attended Owensboro Catholic High School and, after serving in the United States Navy, he graduated from the University of Kentucky.
On Aug. 8, 1959, he married Marilyn White Grady, who survives. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert F. (Wanda, who survives) Grady of Owensboro; and a sister, Jane Roberts of St.
Louis. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Corning Glass Works in Harrodsburg and in Danville. After retiring from Corning, he was employed by Master Gage Tools. In addition to his talent as an all-around handyman, he particularly enjoyed working with stained glass and wood. He crafted wooden cars and trains, rocking horses, dollhouses and furniture for his daughters and grandsons.
In addition to his wife, John is survived by three daughters, Kelly Bruton and husband Eric of Charlottesville, Virginia, Elizabeth Grady and husband, Jeremy Stout, of Fairhope, Alabama, and Wendy Norris of Purcellville, Virginia. He leaves two grandsons, Nolan Bruton and Charlie Norris; two brothers, Harold Grady of Owensboro and Charlie Pat (Marie) Grady of Mesa, Arizona; and a sister, Bettie Wilson of Madisonville. Ms. Young was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Preston White and Margaret Ellen White; a sister, Agnes M. Lamb; and her husband, Charles Young.
